I am a young professional in international development and education passionate about enacting positive change through effective policy and advocacy. From April 2014 to 2015, I will be serving as a Global Youth Ambassador for A World at School.
I most recently served as an English Language Assistant for the Teaching Assistant Program in France in the overseas department of French Guiana, where I saw firsthand the adverse effects of poverty and inequality on my students’ learning outcomes. Read about my experience here. Previously, as a Global Development Policy Intern at Save the Children‘s Washington, D.C. headquarters, I worked to advance the priorities of children in the United Nations’ post-2015 development agenda, particularly education and equitable learning outcomes.
I graduated in 2013 from the University of Maryland with a degree in English and a minor in International Development and Conflict Management.
I am currently seeking field work opportunities in the developing world. I have posted samples of my work throughout this site, but please contact me for more samples or information. All opinions are my own.
